Tutu Cute Dance is proud to offer their very own toddler dance program to little ones on the Sunshine Coast!
Our unique program was designed by Director Chelsea Cook, drawing upon over 10 years of experience in teaching the early childhood age group and catering specifically for children aged 2 – 5 years old. Toddler’s & Pre-schooler’s all over the Coast can enjoy exploring movement, mime, music, magic, make-believe and much more in every class!
At Tutu Cute Dance, students are nurtured, supported and encouraged in a safe & positive environment by our Director Chelsea. Our program aims at developing skills of coordination, musical appreciation, movement and fitness, whilst introducing important social and interactive skills like waiting turns, listening and taking direction. But most importantly, we manage to do all of this learning whilst also having lots of FUN! Check out our video below to see a class in action.

Our Programs
Team Tinys – 2yrs to 3yrs
Duration: 30 minutes
Fees: $15/class (+GST)
Our Team Tinys program is offered to Parents/Carers & their little ones. This fun & interactive class is a great opportunity to share in your child’s experience, helping them explore different types of music, dance & movement, in an environment that is relaxed and positive.
Team Tots – 3yrs to 4yrs
Duration: 30 minutes
Fees: $16/class (+GST)
Our Team Tots program is specifically aimed at the preschool age group. Classes contain exercises and activities that aim at developing basic concepts of dance and movement. Children become independent learners in this class and work under the guidelines of the teacher, within the class or with other students.
Team Twinkles – 4yrs to 5yrs
Duration: 45 minutes
Fees: $17/class (+GST)
Our Team Twinkles program is specifically aimed at the preschool age group. Classes contain exercises and activities that aim at developing basic concepts of dance and movement. Children become independent learners in this class and work under the guidelines of the teacher, within the class or with other students.
Fees & Trial Classes
Fees are due on a termly basis, 7 days after invoices have been issued. Classes are not offered casually, they are a termly commitment. No refunds are given for missed lessons. If you miss a class due to illness or family holiday, you are welcome to do a make up class at another venue during the current term, providing there is availability in the class. On the rare occasion Tutu Cute Dance cancels a program (teacher sickness or venue closures due to pandemic outbreak/natural disasters i.e. bushfire) an alternative online class option will be provided.
About our Director
Miss Chelsea
Teacher & Director
With over 10 years experience in teaching dance to the ‘Early Years’ age group, Chelsea’s vision for Tutu Cute Dance is to offer a safe and nurturing environment, where every individual is given the opportunity to explore their creative selves, develop awareness and grow in confidence.
Chelsea is a professional dancer, now dance teacher, who has trained in all genres of dance since the age of 4. Growing up, she was accepted into the Queensland Youth Ballet touring company and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Dance, at the Australian Dance Performance Institute in Brisbane. Here she studied under the direction of the prestigious Harold Collins, former principal dancer and later artistic director of the Queensland Ballet.
More recently, Chelsea was employed as a dancer for Carnival Cruise Lines. She worked with international choreographers and dancers from Las Vegas, London and Miami, including Paul Roberts, who currently works and produces film clips for One Direction, Robbie Williams and Katy Perry. She was also chosen as a feature dancer & magicians assistant alongside international master illusionist, Jason Byrne in Las Vegas.
Chelsea is a vibrant and enthusiastic person, whose greatest fulfillment is sharing her experience, passion and pure love of dance, to the tiniest of dancers as they begin their dance journey.
